Wisdom of Mahatma Gandhi
Begin your day with prayer & make it so soulful that it may remain with you
until the evening.
Close the day with prayer so that you may have a peaceful night free from
dreams & nightmares. Do not about the form of prayer. Let it be any form. It
should be such as can put us into communication with the divine. Only, whatever be the form, let not the spirit wander while the words of prayer
run on out of your mouth.
To a good man, the whole world is good.
Let us learn to treasure only good & reject the evil in everything.
Speak the truth & remain non-violent at any cost.
I am not against the wealth. I am against the wealth that enslaves.
The real property that a parent can transmit to all equally is
his or her
character & educational facilities. Parents should seek to make their sons &
daughters self- reliant, well able to earn an honest livelihood by the sweat
of their brow.
Have clean companions- clean friends & clean books.
Seven social sins:
1. Politics without principles
2. Wealth without work
3. Pleasure without conscience
4. knowledge without character
5. Commerce without morality
6. Science without humanity
7. Worship without sacrifice.
