Hawaiian Banana Bread
Turn batter into prepared pans. Bake bread in preheated oven for 55 minutes, or until a toothpick tests dry in center of loaf. Turn out immediately to cool on a wire rack.
If your bananas are very large, you may use 4 bananas instead of 6.
If you like, fold in 3/4 cup chopped walnuts and 1/2 cup dried currants that have been dredged in 4 teaspoons of flour just before spooning the batter into prepared pan. Bake as directed.
Makes two loaves
