Ten Solid New Year's Resolutions
By Timothy Dimoff,
President, SACS Consulting, Akron, Ohio.
-
Make a genuine effort to stay in closer touch with family and good friends. Contact a forgotten friend and call someone you haven't talk to, but have been wanting to contact for a long time.
-
Find time to be kind and thoughtful. Find someone every day that is doing something right and tell them thanks.
-
Learn to forgive and learn to apologize when you are wrong.
-
Diversify your understanding and " to understand a point of view or way of life that is different from yours."
-
Embrace humor and help others to enjoy life. Smile more...
-
Be optimistic and help others to avoid being a pessimist.
-
Learn to show your gratitude with the use of a simple "thank you" that seems to be a dieing trend.
-
Exercise your body and mind.
-
Don't be afraid to say, 'I love you" before those special people are removed from your life.
-
Embrace, honor and show your respect for your "God" and let's bring spirituality and religion back to our homes, schools, businesses and our daily lives.
